Objectives
For the set-up of business incubators UNIDO suggests a four-phased proceeding. In Vietnam the project works already start with Phase 2 focussing on:
- Building capacity in management of TBIs
- Fostering the set-up of three TBIs in Viet Nam as pilot for future technology incubator projects
- Scouting / supporting technology business projects
- Activating technology entrepreneurship in Viet Nam
- Strengthening MOST's role as promoter and enabler of technology business incubation
- Promoting a sustainable networking of Vietnamese TBIs and science / technology parks
- Supporting the exchange with the parallel project running in Thailand
